About
The building started out in 1955 as Dean's Diner servicing the busy railroad's 17km's branch line stopping Mossburn. This Branch line was pulled up and sold for scrap in 1987.
Situated directly opposite The Mossburn Railway Hotel,
the building has served many purposes
- from Diner to News Agent, from BNZ Agency to Dalgety Loan (later Wrightsons NMA).
It housed a farrier and an engineer but in recent years it was pretty much derelict.
Renovations were completed in July, the gardens are planted and Lou Dean's Diner
now starts it new phase as Wheels & Reels Accommodation.
